Hey there peeps.

I'm Pablo Diablo - I've been around on a couple other PbP boards off and on over the years, but thought I would branch out and poke my nose in here and there.  I've been gaming for ~15 years, and enjoy everything from in depth collaborative storytelling where a plot is carefully crafted, to slam fests with handfulls of dice being rolled left and right - as long as I know what I'm getting myself into.  I also love mapmaking, and commonly draw up world, regional or local maps for my ftf groups.

I've seen a LOT of interesting games going up here and a couple other places in MnM 2e, which, though I had read through it a couple times, somehow had escaped my shelves before - I'm going to have to head out this weekend and remedy that situation!

Uh. That's it.

Ahh... a completist are we?  I was one of those once.  Collecting this system and that, anything that caught my eye really.  I gave it up eventually though because I had a heck of a time convincing the old FtF group to play anything other than the tried-and-true TSR-->WotC brand goodness.  All of the other systems sat on my shelf unused, unloved, & untried (which is the real travesty).

  Welcome!

Oh, and a word of caution: The Berka's not so bad... but the Zerka bears watching.   Grin

Not so much a completist... Especially not as seeing that I'm a poor starving artist!

But I've had MnM recommended to me (good point), and though I don't recall much about it (not so good point), I see there are a lot of interesting things being done with it.

I do like to explore some of the indie games out there - I picked up "My Life with Master" and "Acts of Evil" (ashcan edition), both by Paul Czega, which I'm just itching to try out, though they probably are better suited to ftf.  I'd also love to pick up "Burning Empires" at some point and run through an entire campaign...  But, for example, I have no need to grab a copy of Toon...  (no offense to Toon fans)

Welcome!  I gotta say, I share that history with Ski-bird.  Used to buy a ton of RPG stuff.  The number of game books in my basement that were bought, read once and never played is a little depressing.

I will say GG.com has really broadened me back out a bit in the last few years.
