NaNoWriMo 2009 - Who's In?

National Novel Writing Month is upon us once again!  Anyone partaking in this event this year?  It's my first year attempting such a monster project and I hope I make it past week one (or at least past day two)!

Any tips to share with us newbies?  Any war stories about past attempts to regal us with?  Want to share with the GG community what you're writing about and/or update us on your progress?  Please do!
