Looks alright Cyclone, though, I think you might have made an error. The Book of Nine Swords states that you get the Unarmed Strike progression of a monk. Now, I've always took that you mean your unarmed damage goes up like a monk, so it would stack with your monk levels for that. I don't believe that it gives you Flurry as well, otherwise it would say both, IMO. It just seems like an uneven trade in my mind to get two class features for what amounts to one built in feat. Again, that's just what I gather from the page, if there's a better explanation, please give me a link or something.

Erm, I don't have any swordsage levels yet.  All my questions on the swordsage have been for future planning.  My first level is monk.

@ Cyclone

*facepalm* I apologize Cyclone. I read it and I don't know why, I thought you had taken swordsage first. Just ignore my previous post then.

@ Frostchilde

Yours looks good as well, though I saw a couple things off with it. Two that you didn't note the -1 damage from your dagger being made of silver, and I'm not sure, did one of your traits allow you the money for the Masterwork item at first level? Also, you have one unspent skill point as far as I can see, since you get 4 + 2 (Int) + 1 (human) = 7. And you only get the +3 bonus to a class skill if you put at least one rank in it.

Midnight, Frostchilde's build includes the Rich trait, which gives 900 gp.

I have a few Prestige Class questions, BTW.

First, the simple one which is just to confirm what I'm pretty sure is the case.  When discussing skill rank prereqs, it is "3.5 prereq - 3 ranks" as in the Beta version, right?

Second, a number of monk-ish 3.5 PrCs have the "Monk Abilities" class feature which basically mean they stack for "class-based AC bonus, unarmed damage, unarmored speed bonus, penalty on your attacks when using your flurry of blows ability, and the number of daily attempts of your Stunning Fist feat."  The first three items on that list translate easily enough to Pathfinder, but the last two have some uncertainties.

For the FoB, would you say that these PrCs would count as having full BAB when using FoB like the monk does?  Or do they just stack with monk levels for determining when they can access the next TWF feat?

For the Stunning Fist part, the monk's Stunning Fist ability now includes access to alternate status effects as they level up, a new ability completely absent in the 3.5 monk, so would these PrCs also count as monk levels toward accessing those alternate status effects or just for the number of uses?

Thanks Cyclone, I think it's too early for me to see things properly  Grin

Yes, that's how the skills work.

For Flurry of Blows, I'm going to have to say that I think it would stack both, since both are a part of Flurry, unless that sounds too powerful to anyone?

For Stunning fist, I would say it would be just the number of attempts, as I would think one would have to level up in monk to learn those specialized techniques.

That's about what I was expecting, but one could always hope for more. Wink I asked because the alternate status effects are written as part of the Stunning Fist class feature rather than as separate class features, just as the "get to use full BAB" is written as part of the FoB class feature, and I could see how it could go either way for either of them.  The "use full BAB" for FoB seems more integral to the new FoB than the alternate status effects are to the Stunning Fist, which is why I sort of expected this answer.

Interesting, I have never noticed that a Masterwork Silvered Dagger is -1 to damage. Fixed.

Yes, as Cyclone has noted, the Rich Parent Basic Trait allows the character to start with 900gp. (322gp of which I used to purchase the MW Dagger). I could have also have instead taken Reclaiming Your Roots and gotten it as an Heirloom.

Actually, now that you noticed the skill points, I see that I have two left to spend. (4 enhanced starting sorcerer + 2 Int bonus + 1 Human +1 Favored Class = 8 ) Fixed.

Also removed the +3 class skill bonus from those I didn't take a rank in at 1st level.

Looks good so far Jill. Though I couldn't see any weapons or other gear on the sheet. I assume you just haven't gotten to that yet?
