Lore exhaled, it was as if she was actually debating on whether or not she wanted to flee. After a long second, she dismounted and began to approach the spirits with her male companions. Unlike them, though, she need not get to close to engage. When she was withint her range, Lorelei releases a blast of purplish fire from her hands. "Let's hope this works.."

Hassid calms StarDancer once more before joining the others and accepting the magical armor, he has found that any boon granted is appreciated against such a thing.  Hassid moves forward at a steady pace, not charging into battle, but first waiting to see what it would do first.  He remained in a defensive stance as he approached the tortured souls.

Marius left his horse in the care of StarDancer, then slowly approached and focused his magic upon his bow Magic Weapon the followed the group hoping that Ioan's magic kept them hidden.  A surprise round would be extremely helpful ... he focused on reacting to the creature in case Ioan's magic didn't.

Total Defense AC = 20

Adam- Moving toward mist monster |HP-51/51 |Spells- Protection from Evil (+2 AC deflection bonus, +2 to saves, blocks effects to possess or exercise mental control), Shield of Faith (+2 AC deflection bonus), Eagle's Splendor (Char +4), Mage Armor (+4 AC Armor), Bless (+1 to hit, +1 to Fear Saves)

Adam and Gabriel move forward slowly.  Gabriel positions himself so that he keeps most of the party members within a ten foot radius. With the spells cast the party was prepared the best it could be under the circumstances.  This "thing" was something Adam had never experienced and he was uncertain at the moment how to best engage.  He has a nagging feeling that their normal weapons will have little effect on it.  Although the monster was made of mist he search as he moved forward for an area of higher concentration of mist or some type of anchor point to the building or ground.  He asked the other to do likewise.  More than likely this monstronsity was tied to this location and the party needed to sever that connection.

Initiative (1d20+1=13)
Spot (1d20+2=14)

OOC- Gabriel has a Protection from Evil Aura with a 10 foot radius.

Yemam moves forward with the rest of the group, but the image of those tortured souls distracts the scout's attack.

Hassid | In Battle | HP 98 | Feeling a bit angry, and concerned, and focused

Hassid is wracked with...whatever it was that he was struck with.  But he knew that he could no longer remain with the others.  He had to close with this thing quickly, Any Delay would cause the others great pain and difficulties.

Hassid broke into a run chasing after the thing.  He moved in a straight line approaching the thing with caution, but still looking to reach it before his comrades.

- If it moves toward us

Hassid Charges the creature, seeking to bring to it a bit of the pain that was brought upon them.

If thing does not approach Hassid moves to O-14 AC 21

If it does approach closer than line 14 then Hassid charges, & puts 3 points into Power attack & 5 points into Combat Expertise AC 24.

Attack = 24
Damage = 37 [Silver/Magic/Slashing]
Hit Chance = 17
I will let you call the high or low for miss chance, I will use this for the rest of combat as IC has removed the notes function on the dice roller.

Ioan grimaces in pain, and invokes Searing Light. For just a heartbeat it is as bright as day, and a streak of that light issues from Ioan's palm towards the mists.
Ranged Touch - Searing Light (1d20+8=13)

Damage vs. ordinary creatures (4d8=23)
Damage vs. Undead (8d6=31)
Damage vs. light-sensitive Undead (8d8=38)

The men looked hurt, but they weren't mortally wounded. Yet. She sent another blast at the mist. If their weapons were going to do no good.. they were in seriously trouble.

Eldritch Blast (1d20+8=24)

dmg (4d6=15)

Marius shooting and moving |AC 16 (force); HP 37/37|

"Well so much for surprise," Marius blurted.  The archer waisted no time, this thing had already wounded his friends and didn't even so much as flinch.  Marius aimed his bow and let an arrow fly before moving closer all the while trying to stay close to Gabriel's protective field (L6)

Atk=20 (includes bless)
Dam=11
(magic)
Hit Chance=33

Yemam watches as the thing is blasted by Lorelei and then attacks the group.  If the scout has learned anything of his companions, it is that Hassid will run into this battle headlong...and Yemam will follow.
