Adam- Main Floor Behind Alter 35/43 AC 22 2/1/1 Protection from Evil, Casting Remove Fear
As Adam scans the moldy pages he feels sickness and corruption grasping at his soul. He instinctively whispers a pray to the Father for aid. He is relieved as a comforting feeling warms his heart and drives away the invading foulness. After finishing the foul documents he stuffs them into his satchel so no one else would be subjected to the blaspheme contain on them. He would dispose of them later.
As he stands Adam is stunned to see Hassid dashing out the chapel door. Seconds later he hears the strange creature tear into Ioan. Things had turned from bad to worse and his search had yielded nothing to help them.
Adam quickly surveyed the situation in his mind as the tactician started to weigh the battle field. The fiend below was tearing them to shreds and their best fighter just fled from the scene. Knowing Hassid's bravery this could only be due to some type of magical/supernatural effect. Ireena had reported that others had shot arrows, but they didn't appear to be hitting the beast. If something wasn't done his good friends would die at the hands of a foul abomination.
Adam had a decision to make. Jump in the hole and attack the beast with his companions or find Hassid and bring him back to the fight. In going after Hassid he would abandon his friends to the abomination and the zombie for many moments. Could they survive or did they need him right now?
He prayed briefly for guidance and received confirmation on the best course of action. He yelled to Ireena to cast another bomb at the monster and then rushed to the door of the chapel to find Hassid.
Upon finding him resting against the wall he casts Remove Fear and reaches out to touch the fighter on the shoulder.
"Come my friend, our friends need us badly. We won't survive this evil without your blade."
Adam then applies the spell to himself as he watches the Father's blessing heal Hassid. Before rushing back to the battle Adam talks with Hassid about strategy.
"It will require all of us to kill this monster. None of us alone as strong enough. We must work as a team and overwhelm this beast. You and I can start the offensive. I'll attack it from the front from the stairs, while you jump through the hole and attack from the rear. While it is concentrating on us other can gain their footing and join with us."
