Ioan looks back at Lorelei, concerned that she's still bleeding.

"Did that last healing not take? You look like I feel."

Adam quickly mounts his horse and draws his greatsword.  He watches as his companions also mount and ride to the sound.  His heart skips a beat and his eyes water as he watches his good friends ride to help other at great peril to themselves.

He shouts suggestions to the other party members as he kicks his horse to a gallop and heads toward the voices.

"Hassid, go straight to the heart of the matter."

"Ioan, survey the situation and determine if other need healing or where your blessings may be needed."

"Yeman and Marius, fall to the back and riddle them with arrows."

"Lorelei,  try to identify the leader and blast him with your magics.  Stick close to Ioan or the archers and they will help defend you as you cast your spells."

As soon as the words left his mouth Adam felt embarassed.  These people weren't soldiers under his command, they were traveling companions with perhaps more experience than he.

"Once a commander always a comander" slipped from his lips and he hoped his friends would forgive him for being to bossy.

Adam gallops to the scene, but doesn't engage right away.  He scouts the scene to identify the weakest battle position on the field.  He will then move into position to charge the strongest opponent.

OOC- During the time looking for the room Adam casts cure light wounds on Yeman.

Hearing Adams words Marius slows to fall back while keeping up with the group.  In the rush to protect his friends and watching the cursed shadows hearing those words brought him back to the present, he spoke softly knowing that his words would fall of deaf ears, "Adam say a prayer for me, with the shadows stirring I don't know how long my mind will hold out."  And with that Marius rushed with the others ...

"Aye, the healing worked.. just need to wash up. Fighting undead seems to take a bit out of me.." She blushed a bit at Ione's words, had she even thanked him? Chalk it up to the heat of the moment.

About 120' from the place where the last battle happened, the group comes upon a startling scene.  The street opens up to reveal a town square perhaps 40 feet to a side.  Despite the name, it isn't quite square.  Rough barricades block most of the access to the town square; however, the eastern barricade has been breached, and zombies are swarming through the opening.  A young woman in half-plate near the center of the town square valiantly fights the zombies, but she is heavily outnumbered.

((Place yourself in your next post anywhere in rows 1 through 3 and in the street.  Move posting back over to the combat thread.  This ends the prologue and begins Act I.))
