1947 [Godlike system] It's been 3 years since the war was ended by the intervention of the Infinity-man, an extra-terrestrial super-hero from an unknown planet who has come to bring peace to earth. He didn't win the war for anyone, but stopped it. The Germans still control half of France and Hitler is still very much alive. The super-heroes from the war find themselves pushed aside in favor of a new breed of super-hero. The Infinity-man and his league of super-heroes are out to promote peace at any cost, the preservation of life supersedes all else. The heroes of WW2 have been snatched up by governments as tools for a new 3-way cold war between the Allies, Soviets, and Nazi's. Moderator: gabboge

The Scales of War [D&D 4e] The world has never been safe. Bastions of civilization populate a dark world—islands of order exist in a land overrun by cults, monsters, and worse. As deadly as the world is normally, something stirs on the fringes of the Elsir Vale. Formerly the site of an attack by the Red Hand Army, the Vale has known a decade of peace since brave adventurers sent them scurrying back into the darkness. But the peace of Elsir Vale—and specifically, the town of Brindol, heart of the former conflict with the Red Hand—has been shattered. The shadow of unease the locals have experienced lately crystallized in the form of an attack on the town itself. Now Brindol finds itself again in need of heroes willing to come to the aid of their citizens. Moderator: Ikoma
